Coming Soon: A New Church Directory

For the last several years, Redeemer has been using the “Instant Church Directory” app for our church directory, which allows you to look up the names, photos, and contact info of your fellow Redeemerites.

However, we will soon be switching to the “Church Center” app for our church directory. (If you’ve given to Redeemer online in recent months, then you should already be familiar with Church Center.) For more info on Church Center’s directory tool, read this blog post:

Change can be frustrating, but we’re excited about this particular change for several reasons:

  • Church Center gives you more control over your household’s info. For example, if you move or get a new phone number, you’ll be able to easily update your info via the app. (If you need to add/remove household members, you'll still need to contact the Redeemer office.)

  • Church Center gives you control over the info that’s displayed in your directory listing. You can decide how much or how little is displayed.

  • Since Church Center syncs with Planning Center (which contains our member database), this will help ensure that the directory is more up-to-date.

For privacy’s sake, the Church Center directory is not public. You will need to 1) install the Church Center app and 2) be invited by the Redeemer staff. In order to ensure that the transition to Church Center is as smooth as possible, we will be inviting people in batches rather than all at one. Our hope is to get everyone migrated over by May.

If you’re interested in being part of the first batch of invitations, or if you have any questions about Church Center in general, contact Jason Morehead (jasonmorehead@gmail.com). Also, if you have any questions about the information that Redeemer gathers about you and your household, please read our information policy.
