CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
Children are a valued part of the Redeemer Church community. We want them to be active participants in both the worship and work of the church. Parents should feel free to encourage their children's participation in the worship service. At the same time, we understand that little ones bring with them a variety of needs. In an effort to serve families and children, we offer the following during worship:
We seek to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children. Nursery care is available to children from birth to age three, and is located in the church basement. All of our volunteers have undergone background checks, training, and adhere to the Redeemer Nursery Policy.
Children who are 4-years-old (and potty trained) to 3rd grade remain in the service with their parents until the sermon. During this time, they are able to go to age-appropriate Children’s Church classes led by Redeemer volunteers. The children meet their leaders in the back of the sanctuary and follow them to their classes. At the conclusion of our service, parents pick their children up from their classrooms. Any of our children's volunteers can help you figure out where you need to go.
